App Reviews

Recently I have had the treasure of time. What that means for you, my readers, is a plethora of new apps to review.

1)Riddim Ribbon... Made by Tapulous and really really bad. Hey tap tap was fun, but this is not. Currently it is on the market 2.99 with only three songs and not much options. It is really sad. Save yourself the money. The game play is boring and not at all convenient. The controls are so difficult. This game gets 1 star.

2)Doodle Army: Very simple but fun game play. It sort of like Zombie ville except a little more complicated. You can jump crotch and fire in any direction. You can unlock new looks, choose from a large assortment of weapons (e.g. shotgun, grenade launcher, m16, and like 10 more). I will give this 3 stars for being fun for a couple of hours.

3) Assassin Creed 2: Made by Ubisoft and not at all satisfying. It is okay to point. It sort of looks cool with the guy jumping, flipping, and climbing up the wall. The missions are simple and the story is decent. The fighting sucks and pretty hard. Assassin Creed 2 gets 3 stars for killing some time.

4)Minigore: This is so good. THIS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SHOOTER GAME EVER. I don't get the story line but it has some pretty awesome controls. You get an aerial view of the fighting plane where you shoot these spiky little black creatures. The controls are phenomenal. Walking controlled on the left and shooting and on the right. This is a super fun game with many characters. I give this app 4 and half stars.

5)Colosseum: Fight the monsters!!! It has controls like Zombieville. Upgradeable weapons like in Zombieville (a lot of weapons too). Fun and easy to play. This should get better with updates. Play and see for yourself. This gets 4 stars for being cool.

6)OMG! Pirates: Everybody knows that pirates suck and ninja rule the earth kicking ass everyday. Well here is your chance dress in black and kill some pirates. It is made by mika mobile the makers of Zombieville and has the same cartoony feel. The controls take some time to get used to, but they get easier real quick. I seriously recommend this because the bosses are fun and the variety of pirates to slash is excessive. This gets 4 stars for being totally ninja.

7)Idroid Mini: Similar to the default Safari app this is a web browsers. It is not going to replace safari, but it is very useful. I like the nine tabs that you get in the blank tabs which allow you to place up to 9 frequently visited sites so you can easily navigate the web. Also when you type in a url, it will search for results on google and allow you to autofill. On top of that, I appreciate the tabs that work at the same time which doesn't really work for safari. Remember this is not a replacement for Safari but is very convenient and with updates this will definitely get better.
