How to Jailbreak an Iphone or Itouch

Warning: Jailbreaking does lead to your warranty to be exempt, but it is really easy to unjailbreak thus fooling the   very silly apple employs.

Need to know: Jailbreaking is a modification to the firmware, the framework of the device, which allows you to do almost an infinite amount of modifications and get free stuff.

What you will need:

• Itouch or Iphone (Firmware 3.1.2)
• You can check you firmware by clicking setting> general >about>firmware.
• If you device is not running on 3.1.2 and it is on 3.1.3 you can try and see if it works if not then wait a little while until a new jailbreak compatible with 3.1.3 is out.
• Usb Cable that attaches Ipod to Computer
• Computer

How to Jailbreak:

1. Connect Ipod to computer
2. Download Blackra1n at blackra1n.com by clicking on the apple or window logo depending on what computer you own
3. Install and Run the program
4. Note: Your devices will enter DFU mode meaning your screen will go black or whatever. This does not mean that it's broken just keep going. Do not Freak out. Your Ipod will reboot soon.
5. You should now have an app called blackra1n which is an icon of blackrain. Click
6. From there you can download Cydia just Cydia do not click on Rock because it is useless
7. Once downloaded, exit out and now you are officially jailbroken

Cydia is a huge extensive library of modifications for you ipod, such as free games and movies.
